Anyone who thinks extreme sports are something new just take a look at what Dana Kunze used to get up to. Jumping off a 172 foot high platform is suicidal rather than extreme. Not give in shrinkage he jumps off the platform. He comes off without a scratch. WTF! |

Before actually watching the video, I thought to myself "Hm, 172 feet? that can't be so high..."
But Then I watched the camera pan up and up and up until finally reaching the spot where this amazing man was standing. Then I was shaking just thinging about it!
Also, I though that the surface tension of water would rip a person apart from impact from such a high jump. but I guess I'm mistaken.
Ha Photo shopped? This guy is world famous for his dives. He still holds the record. It documented every where. Maybe you should wake up. The difficulty to alter a video like this would be insane and expensive. Especially for some random site. Your an idiot, search any engine with highest dive and this guy comes up. They still do shows. Hey good try though.
Well let's see. Gravity pulls at an acceleration equal to 32 ft/s(squared). So if his height was 172 ft it took him roughly 5.375 seconds to reach the water. And since v=at, therefore by the time he reached the water he was moving at 32ft/s(squared) X 5.735 s = 183.52 ft/s. Which is roughly equal to 125.13 mph.
Insane performance.
